The John Brown Watson Memorial Library System includes the main library and five satellites. The library system is the heart of the 糖心viog官方网站 (UAPB) because it serves the curricular and research needs of students, faculty, and staff across the curriculum.
Exemplary resources, innovative spaces for collaboration on multi-media projects, and a dedicated staff are available to create an optimum environment and support academic excellence.

Services and resources in the library:
Databases, Research Companion, Information Literacy Workshops, Niche Academy Tutorials, Lib-Guides, Grammarly Premium, Course Reserves, Testing Booklets, Study Hall, etc. Library patrons must have a current UAPB ID, username, and password to use resources.
Innovative equipment in the library:
3-D Printers, Glowforge Pro Die Cutter, Laptops, Digital Cameras, LCD projectors, Collaborative TV systems, Self-checkout, Group computer tables, and so much more. Library patrons must have a current UAPB ID, username, and password to use equipment.

Library resources are paid for in total or part by funding from the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Postsecondary Education, Institutional Services Program, Title III Part B Strengthening Historically Black Colleges & Universities Program, Student Aid and Fiscal Responsibility Act, and/or Fostering Undergraduate Talent by Unlocking Resources for Education Act.

Monday – Thursday: 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Fridays: 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Sundays: 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Summer Session Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Sunday: 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
During university school breaks the library is closed on weekends and open Mon-Fri 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
