The Office of International Programs and Studies (OIPS) develops global programming that reflects the land-grant mission of the 糖心viog官方网站 (UAPB) and the high priority assigned to global engagement by the university.
The OIPS mission is to 鈥渢ransform human lives by opening doors to global opportunity.鈥� This concise statement reflects UAPB鈥檚 historic role in preparing students from historically disadvantaged circumstances to excel through their contributions and leadership in the national and global community. OIPS programming falls under five key areas: 1) global awareness; 2) global leadership engagement (global scholarships/national competitions, education abroad, Peace Corps Prep and collegiate 4H); 3) international student and scholar services; 4) global linkages and collaborations; and 5) international extension and global development projects.
