The LIONS Program is a summer residential academic enrichment experience that assists new freshmen admitted to UAPB in making a successful transition from high school and home to college life.
How the LIONS Program benefits you!

- Attend early placement testing and registration
- Attend tutoring sessions and 鈥淐ollege Knowledge鈥� seminars
- Reside in the Living Learning Center residence hall*
- Attend Fall Freshmen Orientation

Ready to apply? Here’s how you do it:
- Submit an ACT/SAT score, immunization record and final high school听transcript, including any dual or concurrent college credits.
- Apply for the Summer II 2024 LIONS Program.听.
- Apply for campus housing at听reslife@uapb.edu, with a $100 deposit for Summer II 2024 and $25 deposit for Fall 2024 and Spring 2025.
- Participants are required to complete the FAFSA (2023-2024 Summer II) for a financial aid award for听Summer II 2024 and (2024-2025 for Fall 2024/Spring 2025) at听听(UAPB Federal听School Code: 001086) by May 31, 2024.
- LIONS Program online payment link听.
- Awarded financial aid will be applied to the student鈥檚 account balance for Summer II.
- Program participants are required to enroll as a full-time student for fall semester 2024.
Note: Awarded financial aid will be applied to the student鈥檚 account balance for Summer II first. You will not receive a refund for Summer II.
