Scholarships & Aid
The Academic Scholarship Program at UAPB is designed to recognize and reward students who have exemplified academic excellence. Institutional Scholarships are based on availability of funds and academic performance. Scholarships awarded by the Office of Recruitment are for first-time entering students to the ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ who have not completed a bachelor’s degree program.  Awards are made on a first-come, first-served basis. Incoming freshmen may be offered a scholarship based on their 6-semester transcript; however, final/official transcripts are required for award and may change the award level. Transfer students, please see transfer scholarships for additional information.  To be considered for a scholarship award, you must have applied for admissions and submitted your transcript and test score(s) to the office of admissions at UAPB.  Scholarship awards are based upon cumulative grade point average (4.0 scale) and composite ACT/SAT scores. Please fill out the form to apply for academic scholarships. If you have any questions, call the Office of Recruitment at (870) 575-8960.  Please submit one application per student.  If your score(s) or GPA changes, email recruitment@uapb.edu with your updated information.

Financial Assistance is very important for students entering graduate school.  In the tabs below you will find several types of Financial Aid for incoming graduate students, including an available scholarship from the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC). - Â (Application for Federal Student Aid or the FAFSA)
The Federal Pell Grant is funded by the federal government and administered by the U.S. Department of Education. Students who demonstrate significant financial need according to the federal formulas can qualify for yearly Pell Grant awards of up to $6,895.
To apply for the Pell Grant, students must fill out the . By filling out the FAFSA, you are also applying for the Pell Grant as well as any other federal financial aids available.
All students who complete the FAFSA will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR) that will note their eligibility for Pell Grant funds as well as any documents they must submit to the Financial Aid Office to confirm their eligibility for federal funds. The FAFSA website has complete instructions on completing the multi-page FAFSA form, printable worksheets and lists of the information required, as well as the online FAFSA form itself.
